Welcome Back!!

Hopefully, everyone enjoyed a safe and relaxing Spring Break! The girls seem rested and excited to be back. Only seven more weeks....how the year flies by!!

Academic Update

• This week we begin our final IB unit, "Making A Change." We will study the life cycles of various plants and animals, including having chicks, butterflies, and mealworms in our class! We will observe changes, classify living and nonliving, and similarities and differences. It should be an adventure!
• In math, we will reinforce place value, tell time to the hour on both digital and analog clocks, use the "counting on" strategy, and introduce function machines. In language arts, we will learn the sounds of -y at the end, new sight words, and various forms of literature and their purposes.
